The On Target EP is a rarity of sorts. Released in 2004 in conjunction with Martina McBride and Target, it is a
must-have for all of her fans. Very rare, the album is a sampler of sorts for McBride’s 2003 ‘Martina’ album.

With two remixes (‘This One’s For the Girls’ from 2003’s Martina and ‘Wrong Again’ from 1998’s Evolution) as well as a never released track ‘Being Myself’ and two live tracks (‘Harper Valley PTA’ and ‘Independence Day’), this EP is a delight from end to finish.

McBride’s cover of ‘Harper Valley PTA’ is definitely one of the gems on this album. Not released on any of her own albums, many would not have heard it unless they’d seen McBride live or owned the ‘Desperate Housewives’ soundtrack.
While she may not match Parton with her cheeky attitude, she holds her own with her vocals.

I’d definitely recommend searching E-Bay or even Target for this EP.
